Hi!

Just curious… do you think? I find it stimulating and thought provoking to think. There’s so much to think about, and so few people think about anything anymore! They stay constantly connected to some external source for stimulation that they can go all day, maybe even all week, without truly thinking.

I confess, I was listening to a podcast about this very subject, and that got me thinking about… thinking. Do I take the time I need to take, to just think? To ponder life, and what it means to me… to disconnect from everything and consider the plans I have for my day, or for the year, or – consider whether I even have any plans at all.

Hopefully, y’all aren’t like that. Y’all are intentional about your lives, and serious about considering the path you are taking. For yourself and for those you love.

We are created to think. Designed for it. And, we are better off if we do our own thinking as opposed to allowing someone to do our thinking for us. The individual that can think for himself is not as easily brought into bondage. That person can choose how to live, when to get up in the morning, what to do and how to do it. What to buy, and where to buy it. How to worship and where to worship. There is freedom…

Those who think have the power to choose. That doesn’t mean that all thoughts or choices are equal, or even good. But, the right to do so is one of the most precious gifts you will ever have. And, it’s the number one privilege that tyrants would take from you.

The Creator isn’t like that: He guarantees you the right to think and make choices even if you don’t agree with Him. Even if you deny His existence. That’s just the way He is, and always will be. He is more respectful of your opinion than you are of His.

I also respect your opinion: I might not always agree with it. We may agree to be friends even if we don’t agree on everything. After all, diversity is supposed to be a good thing… right? That’s what everyone says, but almost nobody acts like they believe it. I promise to not only believe it, but to act like it.

Sooooo……..

I’m not here to pressure you to agree with my likes and dislikes. But I will tell you about them. And you may, and can, freely choose to not read about them or click the links to products that I post about. Sound fair?

I’m not gonna try to sell anything tonight, I’m still busy thinking… thinking about how I really hope you, my reader, will have a blessed existence through the thoughts you think and the choices you make.

Don’t sell your FREESOM! And, don’t give it away, either!
